DESCRIPTION
QUINDARO is a perfect example of a Maine-built cruising yacht that is just as nice to be aboard as she is to sail. Her rare tri-cabin layout (with a separate quarter berth) affords privacy to fellow cruisers or crew, yet she is small enough to daysail in a matter of minutes. On deck, she is easy to operate with furling main and headsail, lines led to the cockpit, and winches within easy reach of the helm. The cockpit is deep and protected, side decks wide, tracks wrapped with teak and stanchions high. Thebrightwork is stunning while customMorrispushpit seats add extra space foradditional guests.
Below decks, she is nothing short of a work of art. The high gloss joinery detail, mahogany finish, ash battens, leather upholstery, custom lockers, built-in stereo system and speakers, inlays and half hulls are exquisite. Her build was described by Tom Morris as one of Morris Yachts’ best. She feels like a gentleman’s yacht from a bygone era.
Always kept indoors during winters, QUINDARO is near immaculate. Paintwork, varnish and maintenance are like new. Most systems have been upgraded or replaced. QUINDARO has had only two owners since she was built. Her current owner purchased the boat in 2003 and would use her for 2 months each summer. When he was finished, she would go back to inside storage.
If you are looking for a head-turner during the annual cruise or a boat that elicits compliments at the marina or anchorage, QUINDARO is the one.
